John Griffiths (i)John Griffiths (i) brought planemaking to Norwich. In 1803 (aged 38) he moved from Westminster, London to Norwich with his wife and 3 children. It was not until 1816 that he had sufficient capital to purchase and move to 35 Pottergate street. He later earmarked his son John Robert (ii) to take over the business. |
