• 14th December 2005 - Introduced a Search facility. At the top right of every page there is now a search box. This searches over the entire site so you can get to the pages you are interested in more quickly.
• 15th June 2005 - I wish to thank Mr Ormel for his rescent email regarding H L Arnes & Co. My Grandfather worked for this company in the late 40's & early 50's. Its turns out this company was involved in the buying of Hanomag tractors (very expensive for their time). If anyone knows anything about H L Arnes or Hanomag Tractors. I would be very pleased to hear from you.
• Several people from the Griffiths family have contacted me. I would like to thank them all for their knowledge and help in adding to the family tree.

Griffiths of Norwich

My family used to have a business called "Griffiths of Norwich" making planes (the tool not the aircraft). The business was established about 1800 and the planes they made were of the highest quality and some are still in use today despite their age.

I developed a small Perl module to create the HTML family tree's you see on this site. I have made it available here under an Open Source license so anyone is free to use it. See the Links page for more information and to download the software.
